I was so excited when Katie & Mark asked me to photograph their maternity session this Fall! Matt (my wonderful husband and second shooter!) and I have known these two for quite a while. It was an honor to capture such a special time in our friend’s lives!

Their session took place at a private residence, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places for my couples sessions! We met up with Katie and Mark just a few hours before sunset (my favorite time of day for portraits!). When Katie stepped out of the car, I could not wait to get started! She’d brought not one gorgeous dress, but TWO! And Mark’s outfits coordinated perfectly!! I think it’s safe to say their little girl is going to have great style.

Throughout their entire session, Katie and Mark’s joy and love for one another was so evident. I couldn’t keep from smiling, and definitely called out more than once, “Oh my gosh you guys, I could seriously photography you two all day long!”

Needless to say, Matt and I are SO excited for their little girl’s arrival! Katie and Mark, you are going to be the most loving parents!! Hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from the day! <3
