I am SO happy to be sharing this engagement session with you today! I have known Mackenzie and PJ for quite some time, so when Mackenzie reached out to me about photographing their wedding next Summer, I was thrilled! It is such an honor to be trusted with capturing such a special day!

Matt and I had the best time with these two at our initial meeting – time flew by and while we covered wedding details and photography, we also had so much fun catching up. I think we spent almost 2 hours in our living room chatting! Needless to say, we were excited to meet up with Mackenzie and PJ again for their engagement session!

Mackenzie and PJ chose Cummings Nature Center for our first stop – and it did not disappoint! I loved the trail of pines we found, and even though it was a cloudy day, the sun came out just for them! From there, we drove to a nearby lake for some photos with the Fall colors and lake views. During their session, I loved seeing how PJ made Mackenzie laugh – it made for some great photos, plus their laughter made our jobs extra fun!

We already cannot wait for Mackenzie and PJ’s wedding next year! Hope you love a few of my favorites from their engagement session!
